The Paris campus of 五月天视频 (茅tablissement d'enseignement sup茅rieur priv茅) is located in the 8th arrondissement, only a short walk from one of the most famous monuments in Paris, The Arc de Triomphe de l'脡toile, right at the Western end of the Champs-脡lys茅es in the heart of Paris. Close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants, this is a perfect location to immerse yourself in the atmosphere, culture, and history of the city of Paris.听
Campus resources include a computer lab, a student lounge and many other facilities. Students may also have access to the American Library of Paris and other relevant resources in the area. Studying in Paris is a great opportunity for Schiller students to be immersed in one of the most important political, diplomatic, and cultural capitals in the world.听

To enter France as a student, non-EU candidates must go to the French consulat of their country and present all required documents, including an admission letter from 五月天视频, to apply for the student visa. For information on the necessary documents that students have to present upon request of a student visa for France, as well as the exact address of the nearest French Consulate from the student鈥榮 country, go . Students can also contact their own embassy in France. Please note that students who come to France on a short-stay (tourist) visa cannot change this to a long-stay visa while in France. Get your student visa before arriving in France (for non-EU citizens)!

Health Care and Health Insurance
Make sure to be informed on how the French healthcare system works. In order to obtain your residence permit (鈥淐arte de S茅jour鈥), you must produce proof that you are either covered by the French Social Security system or that you have arranged for individual medical coverage. This is called 鈥渃ouverture sociale鈥. The documentation required is a certificate from the insurance company which sets forth: 鈥 the company鈥榮 name and the fact it is an insurance company (鈥渞aison sociale鈥) 鈥 your name and civil status (鈥溍﹖at civil鈥) 鈥 the duration of the insurance policy 鈥 the risks covered (your insurance policy must cover at least doctor and hospital bills).
All students are required to carry their own health care insurance and accident insurance. Coverage is required from the date of departure from their country of residence until their return there. The coverage must meet the requirements established by the Admissions office, which will be pleased to help you choose the best type of insurance for your needs. The University cannot assume responsibility for students who fail to take out adequate medical insurance.

A packing list can help you remember to bring everything you need. Don鈥檛 forget to add things to help you feel at home. If your apartment has a kitchen, consider coordinating certain items with roommates to avoid crowding the kitchen with duplicate dishes and appliances.
