About Dr. Mohammed Arif
Dr. Mohammed Arif is an accomplished academic leader with more than two decades of experience in higher education across the United Kingdom, United States, and the United Arab Emirates. He brings to Schiller a deep commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and global engagement, values that lie at the heart of our educational mission.
He joins us from Leeds Trinity University, where he most recently served as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and External Engagement and Professor of Sustainability and Process Management. There, he led strategic transformations in admissions, international recruitment, online education, and academic partnerships, delivering tangible results in institutional growth, operational efficiency, and outreach.
His previous leadership roles at the University of Brighton and the University of Wolverhampton further reflect a career dedicated to driving academic transformation, research excellence, and student success. Among his many accomplishments are increased student enrollment, improved national student survey outcomes, the successful launch of new academic schools, major capital grants, and strengthened links with industry and professional bodies.
Dr. Mohammed Arif completed his master's degree and a PhD on Industrial Engineering at the University of Central Florida. As a prolific researcher with over 150 peer-reviewed publications and a strong record in doctoral supervision, Dr. Arif鈥檚 global perspective and multidisciplinary expertise make him ideally suited to lead Schiller鈥檚 academic strategy.
