Biography
Dr. Duncan R. Shaw is considered to be an expert in the history and political manipulation of sport — particularly in Francoist Spain, Fascist Italy, and Nazi Germany — and has published extensively in this area. He is also a specialist in the manipulation of public opinion in different political systems.
In the past, Dr. Shaw was a commentator and presenter of television programs about international football at Canal Plus España, leading to several published articles about the politicization of football.
He was Head of Studies at ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓÆµ Madrid Campus from 2007 to 2013, and is now Senior Professor of History and Political Science. He teaches a wide range of history and politics courses in Madrid and has designed and taught courses through video conferencing and online format to students at Schiller's other campuses.
In 2015, Shaw and former Schiller student Morgan Littleton published The World As We See It.
