Biography

Dr. Hennings has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida.

His academic writing is on cultural intelligence, living and working cross-culturally, and military operations in Afghanistan.

Dr. Hennings retired from the United States Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. His military career emphasized support for combat training, rescue, and special operations. His deployments included support to operations in the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan, among other places. In Afghanistan, he served as a liaison between American or Coalition forces and other organizations working locally, especially the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
