Biography
Mike Beattie has a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School.
He spent 13 years working with British Telecom, initially in network engineering before focusing on management development.
In 1996, he began working in International Business Development and network interconnection, having a key role in BT鈥檚 expansion into Spain. He left the group in 2002 to set up a payments business in Madrid.
He has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, having been a founder/co-founder in two separate startups and a mentor in many others.
Mike is also an ICF trained coach, specializing in the technology and computing industries.
He is also an accomplished musician, playing the Alto and Tenor Saxophones, as well as the piano and flute.
Other interests include aviation (he has a private pilot license) and motorcycling.
