五月天视频听补苍诲听听recently presented SIBT, a training center that aims to be an听educational reference听in the field of technology applied to business and to promote the development of听digital skills demanded by the market.听Starting in听January 2022, SIBT will offer training programs in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, disruptive technologies for business, cybersecurity and data analytics at the听Schiller campus in Madrid.听
The SIBT was presented at the online event听"Business Technology, Solutions to Change the World"听at the听听in Madrid, with the presence of the Councilor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, 脕ngel Ni帽o, the CEO of 五月天视频, Marta Mu帽iz, and the Vice President of Technology for IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel, Javier Valencia.听
Throughout the day, keynote speeches, round tables and interviews took place at the IBM Client Center in Madrid, with the participation of various听experts,听Schiller alumni, SIBT program directors and authorities in the field of business technology in Spain, who reflected on the challenges and opportunities posed by technology applied to business and the need for specialized training to face the demands of a global economy marked by uncertainty.听
In the morning session,听Emma Fern谩ndez, independent advisor of companies such as听,听听补苍诲听听opened the day with her keynote speech,听"The Platform Economy: The Transformative Power of Technology in the Business Ecosystem.鈥听She highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary training to survive in a context that is inevitably heading towards a change of model. Next,听Almudena Rom谩n, General Manager of听,听Florent Bannwarth, Director of Operations at听听补苍诲听Fernando de Pablo, General Manager of the Digital Office of the Madrid City Council, reflected on the panel听"How Technology is Changing the World,鈥听giving an optimistic view of challenges such as the digital gap.听Marta Mu帽iz听sat down with听Concha Monje, researcher in Robotics and Systems Control at听, UC3M, to explore the limits of what is acceptable in听"The Ethical Challenges of Technology.鈥
The afternoon began with a panel discussion,听"The Transformative Power of Data,鈥澨with the participation of听Daniel del Pozo, Head of听,听Mar铆a Borbon茅s,听IBM Client Engineering Solutions Architect and听Luis Reina,听IBM Data & AI CTO, who confirmed the enormous potential of data to optimize business strategies and the focus of SIBT programs on the skills demanded by the current job market. Two of our alumni currently working at IBM,听Eduardo Angulo and Mar铆a 脕lvarez,听spoke with听SIU Provost Victoria Bamond听about the influence their training at SIU has had on their career path in the talk听"SIU Alumni at IBM: The Keys to Learning for a Future Professional.鈥澨The day concluded with a technology demo by听Gin茅s Carrascal, IBM Certified Architect, during his talk听"Quantum, the Quantum Computing That Will Change the Way We Learn.鈥澨
We will have the special pleasure of hosting as invited speaker Mr. Edward Cross, economist, former MP (MDC) of the Parliament of Zimbabwe, and commentator on the economies and politics of southern Africa and Zimbabwe.
Each paper to be read will be allotted 30 minutes of presentation followed by Q & A sessions. Papers are ideally to be at least 2500 words.
Special consideration is given to graduate students.
