International students may be hired by a company while their student visa is still valid provided the job aligns with their field of study. The student must apply for a work authorization 2 months before the student visa expires. Graduates may also submit an application to France Education Internationale to obtain an 鈥楢ttestation de comparabilit茅鈥� of their diploma to enhance their ability to pursue employment in France.

Before You Arrive in Paris

Visa Information

To enter France as a student, non-EU candidates must go to the French consulate of their country and present all required documents, including an admission letter from 五月天视频.

Transportation and Accessibility

Paris boasts one of the most efficient and extensive public transportation systems in the world, allowing students to move easily through the city and beyond.

Metro 鈥� The Paris Metro has 16 lines and over 300 stations, connecting every neighborhood and major attraction with fast and affordable service.
Buses and Trams 鈥� An extensive network of buses and trams ensures smooth connections across the city and to suburban areas, providing excellent alternatives to the metro.
Bicycles and Scooters 鈥� The V茅lib鈥� M茅tropole bike-sharing system offers thousands of bicycles throughout Paris, complemented by a growing number of electric scooters and dedicated bike lanes for easy, sustainable commuting.

Healthcare and Health Insurance

In France, students are not required to show proof of healthcare coverage for their residency permit (鈥淐arte de S茅jour鈥�), whether through public healthcare (鈥淪茅curit茅 sociale鈥�) or private insurance (鈥渕utuelle鈥�), so this is not something to worry about before arrival.

Healthcare enrollment takes place after you arrive in France, and our student advisors can assist you in the process or help arrange international health insurance coverage, if preferred, before your arrival.
